This is the selection post for artists for Round Five of the White Collar Big Bang.
We have a lot more stories (23) than we have artists (10), and rather than deliberately letting authors whose stories don’t get picked right off the bat hang around and stress that they don’t have an artist for a week until a second round of claiming, we’re going to do things differently this time, and hopefully get all of the stories paired up with artists in one fell swoop.
1 – Artists may select up to THREE different stories to illustrate or otherwise create fanworks for (see art requirement rules below on what can be created). If you only want one story, but one or two others catch your eye as alternates, you can pick a second and third choice. If you only want one story and don't want to pick alternatives, that's fine, too.
2 – When making the selections, if an artist want to select more than one story, please note your first, second and third choices. If two artists select the same story as first choice, the first artist to make the claim will get it. If one artist picks the story as first choice but there’s an earlier claim to the story as a second choice, the artist who selects as first choice will get that story. The same holds true for second vis-à-vis third choices.
3 – Twenty-four hours after this post goes live (and not before), artists’ choices will be confirmed. This will give the mods the chance to review all of the selection comments and sort through who gets what art.
4 – Mods will contact artists and authors by email with the contact information. If you don’t hear from the mods by July 24th, (1) check your spam folder, (2) PM us via LJ, and/or (3) email us at whitecollar.bb.mods@gmail.com. Same holds true if you (authors) don’t hear from your artists within a reasonable period of time (a week) or if you lose contact with your artist, and if you (artists) don’t hear back from your authors.
5 - Copy and paste the following information into your post.
Also, if you remember, put the following into the title of the post "I will do art for X story/ies" where "X" is the number (1-3) of the stories you'll do art for.

There are currently twenty-three summaries (a few more may be added before the selection post goes live), which is a record number for this Big Bang. You are all made of awesome!
