The poll for the Big Bang/Reverse Big Bang is still open and if you are interested in participating in either of these challenges, please go and vote HERE.

Thank you to everyone who left comments, particularly those who had concerns about the duration of the challenge. While I'm posting here on the [livejournal.com profile] whitecollar_bb site simply because it has more members and a greater reach, some of the questions will be pretty specific to the [livejournal.com profile] wc_reverse_bb.

Three or four months is fine for writing for me - any longer and I find I either think I have so much time that I don't have enough motivation so I leave it til right at the end and lose interest along the way, or I write it all at the beginning and then get frustrated that I can't post it :D

Prompts and claiming would really help me if we decide to go with traditional big bang.

For art, I know that it usually takes me 2-5 days to make art, depending on how many pieces I do and stuff. Idk how long it takes the other artists though!

I really do like shorter deadlines though bc as some of us said before, I tend to get distracted with all the extra time!!

I also think that a shorter period is better - three months, preferably. Four months, tops. Just like [livejournal.com profile] cookielaura said, otherwise there's no motivation and things get ignored till the very end (and then it's panic time) or everything's ready at the beginning and then frustration sets in because of the long waiting period.

I haven't voted on the art questions obviously *g* but experience in other fandoms show me that shorter periods for both artists and writers help keeping things running smoothly.

As for the starting date, I went with June for the simple reason that I'll be on vacay in May and therefore very likely not online for pretty much a week, and I might miss important dates. Yes, I'm totally selfless. *g* Generally, I wouldn't mind May though. But yeah, LET'S GET RID OF THE CURRENT MOD ALREADY!!11! ;P

Argh, I'm on holiday for the first two weeks of May too, I totally forgot when I voted for that! *Headdesk* So, err, yes, June or any time after the 14th May would be preferable :D

Many thanks for the poll! {{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}

I think the start month would kind of depend on how long the writing period will be. I chose May because I don't want a new mod (LOVE YOU!) and I'd like to start earlier rather than later. :)
