Hi everyone!

Authors, you have eight days until your rough drafts are due in. Your rough draft should be around 8K and have either an end in sight or your ending outlined for your artist. If you have any questions, leave a comment here or contact us at whitecollar.bb.mods@gmail.com. We will grant extensions on a case by case basis if you think you can get your draft done by the final draft due date.

However, if you feel that you are unable to finish, please leave a comment here that you are dropping out. We're sorry to see you go and hopefully we'll see you for round three.

Oh - special note - anybody who drops out will be getting a message when we are done with the challenge about the end of challenge poll. We did one last year and it worked out well, so we'll be doing the same this year.

Cheers and happy writing!

ALSO - We Still Need Artists! At the moment, we have five artists to at least 19 authors at the moment. So, if you could please spread the word, we'd love you for it. :)

Sorry, I've been fighting against this but I don't think it's going to happen. Still short of that 7k.

Maybe next year, I'll keep the fic for then.

Sorry to only get to this now - but how short of the 7K? Do you think you would be able to finish by the final draft deadline?

No worries... uh... maybe 500 words (going by my average 'word/line' count)? But it's all in a notebook and not been typed up yet. (I had issues with impending homelessness which really did take priority over fandom, most of my writing was done on the train).

It should be finished by the final draft deadline but I wouldn't have anything for an artist to look at accept a detailed outline for at least another week.

I know it's most likely not good enough, so I'm not expecting to be kept in! Besides, I now have somewhere to live next month which is actually more important. :) Had fun with this last year and will be back next year though.

I'm glad to hear that you have somewhere to live. That must have been scary and I'm sorry you had to go through that.

We'll see you next round then. I was just asking because, if it was typed up and something for an artist to work with, I would ask you to send it in. :)

It's the wonders of an economic recession. But I have a job and somewhere to live and I shall cling to both with my life. :)

Yeah, right now not so much. By the weekend I could have it typed up, but unless the artist lived in my town it wouldn't really work!

Thanks though. :) Good luck with the rest of the challenge.
