Hi everyone!

Just so everyone knows, this is the second to last day to turn in rough drafts to us at whitecollar.bb.mods@gmail.com . Please get them in when you can - remember, you have until 10 am CDT on July 16th to get them in. At the moment, we have four drafts in and we cannot wait to get more.

Also, special note - if you have 7K to 8K done of your fic and you don't think you'll get the rest done, please drop us a line. If you feel you can get to 10K with the final draft deadline, we would like you to participate. If you have less than that but still feel you could be done by final draft deadline, please email us or leave a comment here.

Also, if you are using anything from last night's season 2 opener, you need to give a spoiler warning. This is just in case someone hasn't had the time to watch it so artists can pick within their comfort zone.

I hope everyone is having fun writing! If you have any questions, drop us a line. If any authors who have turned in their fic has not gotten a reply about your rough draft, please check your spam folders. We have been sending replies back to say that people are good to go.

P.S. -- I will be sending out an email, just reminding the authors about the due date, so please have whitecollar.bb.mods@gmail.com on your safe list. I should have done this sooner and I do apologize for it. It's just one of the small bumps in being a first time big bang mod. :)

Sorry, what's CDT? (I expect it's a timezone, but I don't know. If that's the case, I'm on GMT do you know where that is in relation?)

I will have more than 7-8k by the deadline but probably not 10k. About 9k by my estimates so will submit.

Yes, sorry. It's the Central timezone with daylight savings thrown in. I think I have a timezone calculator around somewhere - I'll look for it and post it.

That's fine - as long as you can get 10K by the final draft deadline in August, we'd love to have you.

Question:

I haven't actually signed up yet (wanted to ctually finish before signing up and turning it in), but I have over 10K so far, and just 1.5 scenes left to complete. Do those need to be totally finished by friday morning, or can I just make sure the ending is solid and fill in the rest after?

Yep - just have an ending and you can fill in the rest during the edit period. And don't worry about not signing up. You can either do so now or just send in the draft. Our author sign ups were open until the due date anyways. :)

This is my first time submitting to something like this so I'm just double checking to make sure it's a due date for fic? I'm submitting a vid and am I right in thinking that's not happening for another month or so? Sorry for being so totally clueless!

Yes, this is just the due date for fic. We're going to have the artist selection post up tomorrow and then the art will be due about a month or so later.
