Date Selection and Final Drafts!
Hi Everyone!
I am sorry that I have been gone so long. It's a combination of depression and family stuff that I won't go into here. I know this says date selection and final drafts, but I also want to talk about another thing.
It came to my attention that an artist did not contact their author. Now, this is fine. Life happens, people drop off the face of the internet and everything. However, I would like to know if there are any authors or artists who have not been in contact with each other. I'm willing to put off the dates for posting for another few weeks if we need to get more artists in for art. I am also willing to do it if authors have not been in touch with artists. This is mostly to reselect authors with artists and everything.
Second thing - we already have two authors who have turned in their final drafts! Woohoo!!! For everyone who has not done so yet - as of right now, all final drafts are due on September 7th. This date is subject to change if we're having a problem of authors to artists or vice versa. But, for right now, the date is September 7th by Midnight CDT (7 am GMT).
Third thing - date selection. This will be up on Thursday around 7 pm CDT (2 am GMT) due to my schedule at the moment. This will be tentative, due to the first point I made. You might see three different lists of selection dates and this will be due to the comments about the first point.
Everyone - thank you for participating so far. I am sorry for being such a flake of a mod and I thank you for putting up with me. We're nearly done and I hope that everyone has had fun along the way.

I've not heard anything from my first author. I sent her a pm, but never heard back. And my second author sent me a pm promising the text and stuff and then I never heard from her again.
I admit I've been very busy over the last few weeks myself, so I haven't tried to make contact again - so probably partly my fault as well.
Do you have emails for both, since pm-ing doesn't seem to work...

Feel free to submit whichever one you want. The only thing I'm looking at for final draft is the word count. I'm just making sure that all fics are 10K. :)

I have a general question:
Do I have to turn in my art on the 7th to you or is that just for authors? Will you post it or will we post it? I.e. am I allowed to make changes to it between the 7th and the actual posting date?
OK, that are three questions. //)
I only know the SPN bigbang so far. There, artists and authors make separate art/fic posts in their own journals and one of them also makes the master post to the community. So there was no final date for anything except the posting date.
I guess it would be easiest if you could let us know the posting procedures as you envisioned them.

For your questions:
1. The 7th date is just for the authors. I'm letting the artists have until the posting date to polish their art.
2. The artist will post it to their journals/upload it to their own webspace - like if it's a video, upload it to youtube and all.
3. Yes, you are allowed to make changes up until posting date.

I don't know what to do about your artist, so I'd suggest PMing them or just going without art. I'm really sorry about this - the ball was dropped on artists and that is my fault. Next year, we will do better.
